A speech made by 63 year old liver cancer patient, Michael Cutler. His fascinating insight into how cannabis has helped him can be watched above.

On Thursday 17th July 2014 in Brighton, UK, the United Patients Alliance was launched. Medical cannabis patients with varying health conditions founded the UPA in response to the prohibition of cannabis in the UK.

Activists Clark French (who is a huge part of our feature documentary GrassRoots: The Cannabis Revolution) and Keiron Reeves (an epilepsy patient from Bognor Regis) laid host to luminaries and speakers such as Professor David Nutt, Green Party MP Caroline Lucas and Law Enforcement Against Prohibition's Jason Reed.

Perhaps the most interesting part of the night however came from the 'patient perspectives', whereby people who either consume or are in some way associated with cannabis relayed their story to a crowd of around 200 people.

This short clip is taken from footage collated on the night of 17.07.2014 for our feature documentary GrassRoots: The Cannabis Revolution, due for release in 2015.
