The Endocannabinoid System and You

All we know is that there are endocannabinoid receptors everywhere in the body that affect all vital life functions. These receptors can be helped by a myriad of chemicals that are found on the earth only in the cannabis plant. Why are we complacent keeping such a potentially helpful nutrient off limits?
